Byron Blackburn – Director of Business Development, GuardRFID

Byron joined GuardRFID Solutions in September 2015. He has more than 35 years of experience in global manufacturing operations including roles in management, product development and senior corporate initiative roles. He spent over ten years at Caterpillar as their key Global Technology and Automation Manager Technical lead, and drove a course of rapid integration of new technology into their processes and logistics operations. During this time he became an adopter of active RFID technology, and soon after leaving Caterpillar he became a developer and promoter of the technology, acquiring significant experience in active RFID deployments in a wide range of markets, including Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Construction, and a host of others. Byron holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, a MBA (Industrial Management Focus) from the Caterpillar/Milliken University Decatur Illinois, and both a Masters and Doctorate in Religion from Seminary school through the Lutheran Diocese Missouri Synod.

Press Theriot - VP Training and  Enablement, FieldAware

Press Theriot has more than 30 years of global experience in Technical Services ranging from presales to Technical Support efforts. He leads the Sales Engineering, Technical Support, Training and Technical Services organization at FieldAware. His teams handle customers in pre and post sales technical roles including product technical questions, issues, education, training, user experience and implementation services. Prior to joining FieldAware in 2011, Press was Sr. Director of Global Enablement at Websense. Prior to Websense, Theriot was WW Director of SE’s and Consulting for McAfee for over 13 years.
